Leland—an engineer, former wide receiver for the Detroit Lions, and a NASA astronaut—persevered through multiple career ending injuries to pursue his passions. Aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis, Leland flew off-planet twice, orbiting the Earth 374 times for a total of 565 hours in space.  After 24 years with NASA as a researcher, astronaut, and Senior Executive Service leader, he now works to share his stories of determination and excellence, inspiring communities for lasting positive change.

VP of Security Wayne Reynolds manages the cyber and physical security operations at Armor. This unique, dual responsibility extends beyond the typical approach many cloud providers take in securing their own operations while leaving customers to fend for themselves. Key to establishing the strategic and operational vision at Armor, Wayne oversees the execution of Security Incident Management, Security Infrastructure, Vulnerability Threat Management, Threat Intelligence, Corporate Security, and Physical Security within both the Armor’s corporate and customer environments. He leads Armor's Friendly Network Forces, a one-of-a-kind internal penetration testing organization designed to validate the company’s own security measures and evaluate risk from new or unforeseen threats. Prior to Armor, Wayne served in the U.S. Marine Corps for nearly 20 years where he led the Tactical Information Technology and Avionics Departments. In his civilian career, he has lead organizations for a wide range of businesses to include Conde Nast Publication, Copart Auto Auctions, Aerojet-Rocketdyne, Citi Group, and GameStop.

Lauren Brunson

BitTitan, Senior Technology Strategist

Ever since the beginning of Office 365 in 2011, Lauren has been helping customers moving their businesses in the cloud. She has successfully migrated over 5000 companies before joining the technical strategist team of BitTitan. Within BitTitan, Lauren is the resident Azure expert helping partners fully understand the potential and the benefits of the platform to their customers. She uses her technical expertise to help partners calculate TCO and ROI for their Azure Projects. As an Azure Certified Engineer, she helps the technical team to identity the best path into Azure and identify potential roadblocks. Lauren is a frequently invited speaker on Microsoft webinars and roadshows as an Azure Influencer.

Scott Tindall

Fuel Digital, Senior Solutions Architect

Scott is a Principal and Architect with over fourteen years of software design and development experience who oversees all application development at Fuel Digital.  He specializes in the design and development of web-based applications and services using Microsoft solutions.  Scott’s strengths also include database design and development, as well as server configuration and troubleshooting. Scott has provided technical expertise, application development, and leadership on projects involving Single-Page Applications, SharePoint content management and integration, portal design and implementation, and service-oriented design.

Steve's experience covers innovation in areas such as: cloud security, high scale data pipelines, global data networks, software architecture, database architecture, and software development.

Kyle Wilson has been working with Microsoft technologies for over 17 years. Kyle spent a long time in the consulting world helping customers adopt collaboration portals and other web technologies before joining Microsoft 3 years ago. He currently works as an Azure technical solutions specialist helping customers and partners digitally transform their businesses with Azure based services.   

P.J. Grinsell

P.J. Grinsell is an Azure Cloud Architect with Microsoft. He conducts strategy sessions, develops solution architectures and helps plan for customer success with cloud technologies. P.J. also frequently leads envisioning workshops for customers to help customers to help embrace new technologies. Over the last 18 years, he has worked with customers to implement transformative architectures mapped to business optimization. Bruce Lane is a 30 year Information Technology veteran. For the last 19 years he has worked as a technical consultant for Microsoft with a focus on enterprise deployment of Windows and Office. He served as the lead architect for one of the largest Windows/Office deployment in the world (775,000 seats). Today, Bruce focuses on helping enterprise commercial customers buy and deploy Office 365. Bruce has an engineering degree from Penn State and an MBA from Northwestern University.

Matt Morton is a senior migration engineer with a focus on Office 365 services and Azure cloud services delivery. He has helped many clients migrate their on-premises infrastructure to a variety of Microsoft's cloud-based solutions. He has worked in IT for over 12 years, with a majority of that time in the healthcare field. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University, holding a B.S. in Information Systems as well as an Executive M.S. in Information Systems. In his spare time, Matt is a husband and father, and manages to find time to run a website he co-founded for VCU fans - vcuramnation.com.

Synergy Technical, Solutions Architect

Orion Withrow stands at the head of one of the largest digital transformations in history: Cloud Services. He has spent the past year evangelizing a shift to the cloud. In the last five years Orion has guided numerous customers through the adoption of Microsoft cloud services such as Azure and Office 365. A calculated risk-taker with deep tech industry knowledge, Orion has worked as a Senior Systems Engineer with a focus on Microsoft technologies for the last 15 years. Orion resides in Louisa Virginia with his loving wife of 12 years, where they are devoted parents of four energetic, beautiful children. As parents and homeschoolers of an Autistic child Orion and his wife are active in both Autism and Home School communities.

Adrian joined Synergy Technical as Synergy's first engineer in 2012.
